Tylor ("we", "us") provides the Tylor mobile app and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, location, and business type.
Business data you enter. Tylor stores the customer records, measurements, order details, payment records, invoices (including the business and bank details shown on them), and the style photos and logo you upload to run your business. This data belongs to you — you are responsible for having your customers' permission to store their details in Tylor.
Automatically collected data. A push notification token, so we can deliver order and reminder notifications. If you enable crash reporting or product analytics, we may also collect basic device information, crash diagnostics, and app usage events.
2. How we use information
- To operate your account and the core features of the app
- To send you order reminders, delivery alerts, and account notifications
- To process Premium subscription payments
- To send WhatsApp payment reminders to your customers, only when you turn this feature on
- To diagnose crashes and improve reliability
- To respond to support requests
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Paystack — to process Premium subscription payments on Android
- Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform — to deliver payment reminder messages to your customers on your behalf, only if you enable WhatsApp automation
- Apple and Google — to deliver push notifications and, for iOS, to process in-app purchases
- RevenueCat — to manage Premium subscription status and purchase entitlements
- Cloudflare (R2) — to store the photos and logos you upload, and encrypted backups of our database
- Resend — to deliver transactional emails such as password-reset messages
- Sentry and PostHog — for crash diagnostics and product analytics when configured
- Our cloud hosting and database providers, who store data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes
4. Data storage and security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and are never visible to us in plain text. Session tokens are stored using your device's secure storage, not in plain app storage. Data is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers. When you upload a photo or logo, we remove its hidden metadata, including GPS location. Invoice share links use long random codes; anyone you send a link to can view that invoice.
5. Your rights and choices
You can view and update your account and business information at any time in the app. You can turn WhatsApp automation off at any time from More → WhatsApp Automation. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from More → Delete Account.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your data, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.
7. Children's privacy
Tylor is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, children under 18.
8. Where your data is processed
Tylor is built for fashion businesses in Nigeria. Our service providers may process and store information in countries outside Nigeria. Where information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate contractual and security safeguards and handle it in accordance with applicable Nigerian data-protection law.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
